HOLY SH!T! I saw this Deep Purple MkII lineup live in Tucson, AZ, on April 26,1973, and I've always remembered that performance as superior to "Made In Japan." This is better still. The Deep Purple team should get hold of this audience recording and work their magic to clean it up and RELEASE IT! I'd pay big money for that.

This sounds heavier than the San Antonio gig which was filmed. The sound on that was soft, Rondinelli got fired not long after this Essen gig. A shame

Imagine time machine that would take back concerts only? I'd set the date for June 2nd, 1973, Kezar Stadium in S.F. Then it's off to Offenburg, March 24th, 1973. Then, it would have to be Oakland Coliseum Arena, May 9th,1977 for an Evening with Pink Floyd. Yes indeed, a concert time machine!
